I’m a Minnesota-based storyteller and communications strategist exploring communication, trust, and technology in a changing world.

I’ve spent much of my career helping people understand systems that affect their lives.

My career path has been non-linear. I’ve worked in nonprofit organizations, higher education, advocacy, and public service, leading communications projects ranging from policy and legislative materials to campaigns, presentations, newsletters, and digital content. Over time, I realized that while the subject matter has changed, I keep returning to the same kind of work: taking something complex, technical, or overwhelming and making it understandable, meaningful, and useful.

I’m especially interested in the ways communication shapes human experience. How do people build trust? What makes a message resonate? What happens when technology changes the way we create, share, and understand information? Those questions have increasingly become part of both my professional work and my writing.

Outside of work, I’m a reader, a knitter and crocheter, a mom to a very inquisitive three-year-old, and someone who firmly believes that every soul has a story to tell, and every story needs a soul to be worth telling.
